Thank you...and yes, I was surprised to sneak up there. A couple of those games were challenges but I just felt they were going to come through (especially the Colorado and University of Spoiled Children games).

One of the real keys is moving teams around on the confidence scoring system...that way the ones that are iffy don't kill you as much if the pick doesn't come to fruition.
 
Week 3 selections are now up and open...

(Sons of Clem are the tie-breaker game against Syracuse...I expect that game to be U-G-L-Y and there ain't no alibi)

Big12 games include Tceh, ISU and K-State

I do expect a Clemson win here, but.. be careful. Seems like Clemson lays a dud or two every year...usually just squeaking by. Cuse is a great place for it. Tigers won by 4 last year and lost by 3 year prior.

Hahaha, as Jerry Read said “when you’re hot your hot - and when you’re not you’re not” my ‘not’ is coming, soooooo lucky. I’ll be back in my normal role of supporting the rest of you soon enough. Best part of this is for the first time ever I’m ahead of the Mrs (nhorn 2).

Hey Worster, you can move those games around if you want and assign high points to the ones you feel confident on and low points to the ones you don’t. I noticed you picked them in order.
 
Don’t want to gloat but had TT come thru I would have batted 1000! I put them as higher on confidence rating too. I’ve never missed less than 3 in all the past pickings. I need to get a lottery ticket.

Still thinking Auburn a tad overrated. But that is the media/SEC way... pump 'em up and then whoever wins is a juggernaut...don't drop the loser too far because they just barely lost to a top team. They're all just so good and "beat up on each other".
Been that way in the West for awhile. And they are doing all they can to get the East up there, too. Tried South Carolina, Tennessee, now Florida. Big pimpin' baby. SMH
Couple years ago the last place team, Mizzou, was 9-5. Man, what a conference! How did the last place team end up 9-5 they say?...so tough.
Not tough at all....play 2-3 good SEC teams and get crushed, lose another 2-3 close ones to middling teams in conference play, and then beat the dog out of 9 nobodys..and...walah!!
Too bad the teams went just 6-6 in bowl games that year. Ironic...that 6-6 record should be for some of those teams.

I'm feeling cocky & relaxed about most of my picks this week....

Confident of Whiskey, GA, FL vick-tree picks and a couple others.

I know NOTHING about Utah State & SD State so lowered that to 1 point confidence.

Large doubts about AL aggie vs. aggy but ended up guessing aggy is due and will win a close one with the home crowd advantage.
