Sounds like the kind of guy you want to trust with casting a vote representing thousands and thousands of Texas voters.

Is there no vetting of these people? And why doesn't Texas have a law requiring electors to vote the will of the people. Many states do.
 
At 1:28PM, Trump up to 240 votes. Just needs 30 more to clinch. Still no faithless electors that I see.

Texas 38 - 2 will put him over the top.

Turn out the lights, the party's over. They say that all good things must end...

As an ironic award to the one faithless elector, as he fades into irrelevance beginning today.
 
Much ado about nothing. Maine electoral votes will go to Clinton (3) and Trump (1), as called for by election results. Link. So far, neither candidate has picked up a vote. Yawn.

The Electoral college will never be changed. It's time for the Democrats to accept that and win the hearts and minds of the middle states whose individual vote is worth more than those individuals on the coasts.

Comical to watch them glom onto some ray of false hope or lie propagated by the MSM, and then to witness them crash dive into the frozen tundra yet again. They get increasingly frustrated/infuriated by the failure of reality to meet their goofy expectations.

The faithless-elector thing is nonsense. Nobody serious, including mainstream Democrats, is putting any stock in it. The media is overplaying a fringe issue because it generates clicks.
 
The others who tried in other states to not vote for HC were either disqualified or told their vote would not count.

Listening to that live stream is like trying to hold a conversation in a racquetball court. Can't understand anything they say.

All I can say is maybe icy roads kept them away or something. Or, maybe they were intimidated by the threats.
 
It appears only CA, DC, MT, NV, and TX are still out. In that group MT and TX are the remaining Trump states left unaccounted for.

At 265 even if DT picks up MT's 3 before TX finishes...he'd still be at 268.

Looks like the Lone Star State will rightfully seal the win either way. :texasflag:
 
Montana voted. Trump at 268. It's up to Texas.

At the rate they're going up in Austin, I'll be asleep before they finalize this thing.
