Egypt to France: Give our antiquities back

Native American tribes have been and continue to be given billions of dollars by the U.S. government. This will continue as long as there is a system of reservations set up for these tribes. Jobs (other than working for the tribe) are virtually non-existent on most reservations. The second most reliable source of income to these tribes are casinos, but most of these are either located away from the reservations or are run by non-NAs. Few casinos provide abundant jobs for the tribal members. The best thing for the NAs would be to abolish the reservation system and let them assimilate into the population. Fat chance this will ever happen. In the states where there are virtually no reservations or the reservations are loosely defined, the NAs do just fine.

When the French have made a 10% return on their investment on showing the antiquities in dispute, they should return them. Perhaps the Egyptians will have learned by then to better keep their stuff in the first place.
