Dumb Political Correctness

Professional sports need a huge boycott across the board, including college. You could even watch all the games on TV if you wanted. But if no one bought season tickets or merchandise, there would be serious financial problems.

Just look at UT this year. Significant cuts were necessary due to a low number of fans allowed in the venues. Make that zero? You may not kill football but you would kill every other sport. It would only take a couple of years of that a some big donors withholding money to completely turn things around.

For the TV thing the only thing we plebs could do is cancel cable and maybe not buy any alternative for a year. There is a way to get other shows you like without cable or Hulu or Slingbox. But even those two options will cut into sports profits. I haven't done it yet, but I will if I need to.

Speaking of movies, let me save you from WonderWoman84 - I saw it as part of a "family event." It was offered for free as part of one of the streaming services. It is HORRID. Bad acting, bad script, bad idea and really bad music. It was physically painful to sit through. If I owned the studio, I would not have released it. Gadot is still pretty hot but that is not near enough

I dont even know what this one is \/

How are we supposed to fund all the Title IX schollies with no football revenue?

I'm stunned at no matter how despicable Baldwin is, the physical assaults over parking spaces, the leaked voicemail calling his daughter a pig, and on and on, that he continues to get TV gigs on SNL and wherever else. He's a POS beyond most others.

I'd love to be the one he gets furious at over a parking space or the like. I think I like my chances against him.

As I've said about other pieces of crap, he wasn't adjusted properly by other kids growing up. Someone needs to do it now.

Getting upset about some actor you don’t know and will never meet

he is a geek

and those who get upset with him?

That's a good point. I wouldn't say I get upset about him until IO see something about him, like on here or somewhere else. Unfortunately, a lot of people continue to listen to dolts like him. It's pathetic.

I certainly don't sit around thinking about that *******.

Now, are you saying I'm a geek or something?

Edit: From what you are saying, no one on any message board or anywhere else should ever comment or have an opinion about someone he doesn't know. That's
unrealistic.

Baldwin gets away with it as he's still a Party Member in Good Standing, and has value to the Party. Would look bad if the main impersonator of President Trump was kicked out of the limelight for various transgressions.

Remember how when Harvey Weinstein was accused of being a rapist - his two responses were "Not me" and "I'm going to use my money to make mean films about the NRA", so don't send me to the gulag, I'm a valuable Party member.

But his value was gone at that point, so various rapes that had been covered up by the NYC DA were suddenly back, as if the Breath of Life itself had been blown into them.

It's all about your usefulness to the Party, as it is in any dictatorships. With Good Standing and value comes the ability to do things others would be in a labor camp for.

Let me rephrase the stunned part of my comment above. Stunned that people, and damn sure not only liberals but plenty of hypocrite conservatives, still tune in and watch. Not unlike hypocrites crying about BLM and then on the edges of their seats watching the NFL.

That won't last long - what about those who are sterile either by choice or by accident / illness? Or like a lot of leftist, don't choose to have kids anyway

This story is just too funny -- Hilaria ous

Imagine if a conservative president appointed someone with no medical experience to this position, instead picking an Attorney General after having already picked a former Attorney General as VP in the current law enforcement / justice climate.

The real story is that it's yet another example of how, in liberal bubbles, it's a privilege to be [just about anything they say is not privileged], which is why so many people fake being these things.

I would argue that since Obama made us all chip in and help pay for our neighbors' health care costs, then we have a vested interest in their actual health. Thanks to Obama, it is no longer just "on them."
Obama cleared the way for us to call this out this lifestyle choice as unhealthy and in fact encouraging heart disease, diabetes, hypertension and a host of other issues
In short, if we have to pay for them then they have to listen to us

I think many people would argue that is a good thing. Educators are in their elitist academia bubbles. They are the problem.

Please limit your response to 2000 words. Thank you.

I didn't mean that as an anti-DeVos comment. I brought it up to illustrate that we already have had a conservative make a cabinet appointee whose credentials didn't fit the conventional mold for the position at issue. The opposition party and media shat its pants. And of course, it was always a BS criticism - not because she actually was "qualified," but because the real hatred of her was because of her politics.

Gotcha.

Will Cleaver's amazingly stupid use of awomen get covered by the DMC?
I am almost embarrassed for him
But he is too big a jerk to deserve pity.
