Right, I had to read it twice before I got it
That's been the go-to response for years. Once again it remedies that pesky personal responsibility factor. It gives them the right to interpret and judge. So Jussie will be exonerated because the racial climate is so toxic, he was traumatized. He will be rehabilitated as temporarily insane and then go on a sob tour about the effects of racism. His staged attempt will be seen as a rational response to a fearful environment. I have no doubt that people think that on the far left. They are completely gone mentally.

This is possibly the most cynical statement in a very long time given the Left's full-frontal attacks on the MAGA hat wearing teenagers:

Let me tell you something, my cousin is 67 years old, has blocked my 82 year old mother who is an old school Republican and helped raise him when his mother was too poor to do it. He posted he wanted to smack that teenage MAGA wearing hat kid in the face. It took all my strength not to tell him to quit embarrassing the family but I let it go. This type of hard-core superiority and aggression from the far Left makes me sick. And let me tell you, he thinks he is superior to anyone who is not a Liberal. He is a joke to me. Yes, I'm mad about it. It's too personal.

He reminds me of my cousin. She just turned 40, and she is a militant SJW (especially pro-LGBT) and extremely self-righteous about it. She virtue signals about it every chance she gets, goes to women's marches in a ***** hat, and surrounds her two young sons with everything gay she possibly can. She's doing everything she can to turn them into Richard Simmons starters kits. Of course, she is white, married (though her husband is clearly a weanie), is well-educated (or maleducated), makes good money, and claims to be a Christian - the classic example of the modern, woke, educated white Leftist.
She has defriended her dad (who's a minister and conducted my marriage ceremony) over politics. She jumped on the Covington bandwagon and stayed on it even after they were exonerated. She says she can handle respectful disagreement, but she viciously attacks and eventually defriends anyone who takes issue with her. It's a moral thing for her. She believes in her own moral supremacy, so anyone who takes issue with her isn't just misguided but a terrible person.
On several occasions, I've considered very carefully taking issue with her, but I don't, because she has never been anything but kind and decent to me, my wife, and my son. Do I want to completely burn and destroy that bridge over politics? No.
Screw politics. Save those kids she's brainwashing!
She lives in Virginia. A Virginia court isn't going to take her kids away for this. (A Texas court wouldn't either.) I would have to go kidnap them and face a prison sentence. Call me a wuss, but I'm not willing to do that. At some point, she'll have to answer to a higher authority, and they'll have to sort out their own lives.

She wouldn't. Like I said, she has been nothing but kind to be for 40 years. If I sent them something that was openly hostile to LGBT crap, then that's another matter. I'm sure she'd throw them away, shame me on Facebook, and then defriend me.
