TFB reported that after Jones' Bailor OV this past weekend, it's really down to UT and aggy. Living in Nacogdoches he's surrounding by so many of the pesky little creatures that it's clouding his mind a bit.

A source close to Jones said that if Brandon had to choose today, it'd be Texas.

I think Tope is hoping for it, that's all. I guess the players generally have the feeling that Jones is coming, but the players sometimes overestimate things based on the positive response they get from recruits during visits. We learned that after the Mack-Soso-Lodge-Kyler thing last year. So I am going to take it as nothing more, for now. We will know in some 8.5 hours, anyway.

My feeling is a 55% chance for Jones to come to us. Most of the 45% for aggy is based on his long-term leaning to them. But seeing how badly the aggy class is finishing, unable to even use about 5 extra ships they have, and knowing that they only have 6 defensive recruits in this class, I don't know how Jones can decide to go there at this point. But what do I know?

Yes, but Jones and pretty much the whole recruiting world is well-aware that we have at least 4 more all wrapped up (and probably 6 or 7 very probable)

Just took a look at Texags. They are liberally now blaming $$$ for this decision. I have to admit that if I was Brandon's Father I'd be pissed and wanting to make some of those folks answer to the slander. I know it happens in this world but it's one thing to say the SEC cheats and another thing to specifically accuse a young player of taking money.
