Update. As many of you know, I'm immunocompromised from my chronic case of Leukemia. I went into remission two years ago and remain healthy and in fine shape. In fact, let's just state facts; I'm hot.
For the second time in the past two years, my wife has contracted COVID. As before, I've not contracted it myself. We were man and wife, pretzeled and all the other things happy couples do and I didn't catch. Her case is mild. She isn't taking anything for it except over the counter crap for the usual bad cold type symptoms.
To recap: I received three COVID immunizations over two years ago and received two injections of a product called Evusheld (no longer on the market), which purportedly pumped my immune system up.
And I'm doing alright.
Conclusions?

So glad to hear the positive news By. Having become, over the past 16-17 months, a member of the less than stable health population anyone in the group with a positive attitude/outlook helps lift my spirit with theirs. So thank you.

What I've heard about Evusheld is that it was designed for the original strain or whatever and is not effective anymore with the new versions. There is another one out there under development but it's not available.

My wife caught covid a week ago today, I caught it the next day. By Monday night I was over it. Played golf Tuesday morning, taught chess that evening, thennn > came down with the flu Tuesday around midnight
The flu is far, far, far worse. Not even close. Had the flu vax, apparently different strains going around .
Respectfully not interested in hearing that song but if she’d sing you are my sunshine I would most likely cry. My mom sang that to us even into adulthood and trust me, there is little I would not give to hear it from her one more time.
