That would be the one time they wished they took their headphones off to listen to me.

You'd be surprised at this point. At least at Frontier, I fly with plenty of anti-mask, and, actually, conservative types. Yes, they are outnumbered on politics, but most are sick of the masks. They were all told it would stop when we started getting jabs.

My kids' youth director lost her thirty something personal trainer to covid. I am NOT a personal trainer. I'm a gravy aficionado and I'm in my 50's and I did fine.

According to a South African government panel, the Omicron variant is so mild there’s no need for quarantines and contact tracing.

The Ministerial Advisory Committee of South Africa said the proportion of people who are immune to COVID-19 has risen dramatically and there’s no need for restrictions. The panel also said COVID quarantines are no longer feasible from the economic and social viewpoints.

This comes as the ratio of hospitalizations to cases has dropped by 30 percent in South Africa with doctors saying the new strain is so mild most people don’t even feel it. Doctors have suggested many South Africans with Omicron don’t even notice they are infected.

That was NOT like Delta, right? I do think other variants are performing like we'd expect - easier to spread but less deadly. It will burn itself out soon, hopefully. I think by the end of February we will start seeing it burn off like a morning fog.
