Coronavirus

It's not about the COVID vaccine. Tuskegee stuff aside, there are some reasons in here:
Black Americans' Vaccine Hesitancy is Grounded in More Than Mistrust | Research Blog

Doesn't seem like it's grounded in "science". Does it? Not long ago dems were wagging a finger at conservatives for mocking mask wearing, the words "science" and "deniers" were tossed freely. Why not at Afr Americans as it pertains to the vax? Double standard perhaps. Face it> Everyone has their reasons for not getting the shot. Or to wear the face diaper

I know in Dallas county there has been a massive push for minorities to get the vax. Attempting to break thru the barriers listed in the link, but to no avail.

There are some historical reasons why the black population is not pro-vacc. Reasonable when in their shoes

With all due respect, this narrative is politically-driven horse ****. I'm not saying that because the facts of it are wrong. Blacks have gotten screwed around and lied to in the past. However, it's horse ****, because the safety of the vaccine is an objective matter. There's either a good reason to question it or there isn't, and the merits of that aren't based on the race of the person questioning it or what's happened in the past. In fact, the race of the person questioning it isn't even relevant.

The purpose of this is to absolve a Democratic constituency of its skepticism while ridiculing another constituency's and superficially explain away the ridiculer's hypocrisy. It's also a very sloppy examination of the issue even if you accept it as relevant. While the government has lied to blacks in the past, is anyone really dumb enough to think blacks are the only ones the government has lied to? Government officials lie, mislead, and just plain screw up all the time. It's not "irrational" for anyone not to accept their claims at face value.

Thank you for flying Delta Variant Air Lines...

What they do when they think no one is watching tells you what they really think.

They know the virus isn't an issue anymore. They know its over, but they will use any tool they have to control people.

Over? Interesting take. Stay tuned.
Of course we will...watching fools keep proclaiming the sky is falling is better than anything on television. Although it IS sad watching those same fools have no problem with the erosion of constitutional freedom.

It may not be over for a while because no TV sports commentators, radio DJs, etc., anyone, no one, will dare ever go against the scripts placed in front of them that prompt staying home, washing hands, masking up, getting vaccinated, etc.

They are never allowed to speak up and give their own opinion on this eatings. They will not dare say how stupid it was to have golf tournaments with no fans or the like. Fear of reprisal is too great. You would, justifiably to the media and liberal douchecanoes, be justified in being fired for not following the written narratives.

Since stupid people believe what TV and radio people tell them, the fear will continue.

Let's see how many preventable deaths we will see in the future. The bad news for Trump is it's thinning out his base.

Honestly, I'm baffled that they let this photo get out. They have ****-eating grins, but they look bad. It really says it all. Terrible optics.

Wait a second shouldn’t all the TX representatives have been vaccinated. How did 5 get Covid?

Who knows about their vaccination status but the mere presence of a vaccine does not guarantee the target is immune. The success of the 3 vaccines is 74% (J&J) to 90%+ (Pfizer, Moderna).

They are reportedly near 100% success rate for preventing death.

Well. They know they won't be held accountable. They know they will be portrayed as heroes no matter what they do, because they server the Cathedral.

Also look at the limp wristed response of Abbot and Patrick. I think they are glad the Ds left town so Congress won't pass any icky conservative bills this summer.

They won't be held accountable by the media the way Republicans would be. However, it certainly hurts their message when voters see it

Ok, sorry SH. Taking purely percentages I reckon deaths of total vaccinations is not over 1% so your claim of nearly 100% would not be incorrect. Guess I’m feeling giddy cause I finally made it back to my Doc for a hydroxy script renewal.

It's not even 1%. Using round numbers, even if you attribute 100% of the 11k VAERS deaths after vaccination (we KNOW this isn't all attributable to the vaccination), then 11,000/200,000,000 = .000055 That's not 1/10th of a percent, not 1/100th of a percent. We are talking sooooooo small that any attempt to correlate the vaccine impacts to Covid itself are not credible, despite the best efforts of some.
