How many times since last April or May that you can’t stop a virus? Best option was to let the virus run in under 40 crowd and protect the old. It’s called fire breaks and is not new science.
The number 1 reason given is garbage. Vaccine makers make no profit on vaccines. Why take the liability risk to sell a product when there is no profit? Vaccine makers would gladly assume liability if they could charge $50 a jab like other pharmaceutical products but the government won’t let them because it would exclude the poor and working classes. The other top reasons were garbage too.Bubba can explain this I’m sure. Glad your experiences are positive Bubba but here’s some interesting vaccine opinion:

Back to garbage reason #1, if one pharmaceutical company made a gold-standard vaccine for covid and said they would only make it for $100 a jab, the government would take over the manufacture and distribution of the vaccine using toll manufacturers via the emergency powers act. Under those circumstances, do you think you can sue the US government?Bubba can explain this I’m sure. Glad your experiences are positive Bubba but here’s some interesting vaccine opinion:

Do you own GM when you buy a car?I thought we taxpayers were paying for the vaccine?
By paying the lowest price of any customer, the US government is officially the least important customer that these companies have. Yes, Congress can have them testify but big pharma likely has more power at the FDA than congress.I thought we taxpayers were paying for the vaccine?
I negotiate IP liability protection nearly every month. Just like in economics you have to be cognizant of opportunity costs, you need to be aware of alternative levels of risk. Risks, like costs, don’t disappear. They get shared and/or allocated.Back to garbage reason #1, if one pharmaceutical company made a gold-standard vaccine for covid and said they would only make it for $100 a jab, the government would take over the manufacture and distribution of the vaccine using toll manufacturers via the emergency powers act. Absolutely, and over Congress than the FDA or most likely anything else. Well maybe except for the Apple’s and Googles of the world.Congress can have them testify but big pharma likely has more power at the FDA than congress.
A. The vaccine is 95%ish effective. It appears to be, in real life, closer to 97%-99%.Bubba can explain this I’m sure. Glad your experiences are positive Bubba but here’s some interesting vaccine opinion:

If you judge by their stock prices, there has been no benefit. Not to just be contrary Mc but I do not believe the pharmas’ are giving the vaccine to the Govt for free, or at zero profit. No way. Govt contracted pricing may be discounted and heavily, but it’s not at zero profit.
You are correct. A free market would allow rich folks to pay $50 or $100 to include liability protection.mc
Whst I meant was no one is paying out of their pocket to get the shot. Right?
So the poor get the shots just like the rich.
Taxpayer money is paying for the shots for everyone
All deaths after the vaccine are being coded Covid deaths and not reported on!We've had roughly 300+(known) of our 550ish employees who have gotten vaccinated so far. Easily over half have had a fever for 1-3 days after the shots. Some are reporting constant itching without a rash all over their body now that the fever is gone. Those seem like pretty serious "responses" to me.
That’s coming. It will have three consecutive numbers on it.Gee, it's difficult to tell a vacc from an unvacc?
How about we just tattoo an identification number on, say, the inside of the forearm of anybody who has been vaccinated?
mb?
Did AH24 ever answer about $GME?
We don't like liars and frauds. Does not matter whether it is someone who lied about making money on $GME or the Fraud Fauci lying about so many different things related to the sniffles.I think I prefer to leave you guys in suspense instead of telling you about the result. It's more fun that way because it's obvious you guys spend way too much time thinking about what I'm doing.
Again, let's examine your statement, which is essentially: "The presence of existing risks justifies taking additional risks". Obviously, taking additional risks makes you less safe, not more.
If I told you that the adolescent deaths caused by Adverse Effects to Medical Treatment in the U.S. were .38 per 1,000, but the deaths from Covid were .006 per 1,000 in Texas, would you say that it is better to not have medical treatment for Covid, or it is better to have medical treatment? Would you still call people fools for not taking the vaccine? After all, medical treatment is based on "legitimate science" just like the Thalidomide drug was based on "legitimate science".
I employ over 300 doctors. Some are awesome, some are idiots. Ahole24 fits the latter.
To be fair, some of the best docs are idiots. Especially when you get into surgeons, ER docs and other specialties. Some of the best surgeons are idoiots. You're not a good boss/business man/MBA/executive/whatever if you can't distinguish the good doctors from the bad ones. I suggest you revamp your hiring practices.
As someone who employs 300 doctors and more than 1500 mid levels, I’m guessing my business degree from Texas and my MBA from Rice say differently. I can even afford to sponsor to HF.You're not a good boss/business man/MBA/executive/whatever if you can't distinguish the good doctors from the bad ones. I suggest you revamp your hiring practices.
