Coronavirus

The VA data for the current study came from the Veterans Affairs Informatics and Computing Infrastructure, which includes inpatient, outpatient and laboratory data and pharmacy claims. It is currently being peer reviewed.

The authors acknowledge some limitations, “including those inherent to all retrospective analyses such as nonrandomization of treatments.”

However, they note that they did adjust for potential confounders, including comorbidities, medications, and clinical and laboratory factors.
Did the study include zinc?

The study Not authorized by the VA separated the vets into 3groups. They did this off of data they mined from VA stats
One group, HCQ only, one group HCQ plus Z
And one group no hcq
These were vets average age 70 with many other issues. Average BMI was 30.

LH seems to want to ignore facts
Take a group of obese 70 y o vets with underlying issues and only then try a regiment of HCQ plus, only 368 vets,
And when that did not save them all
Then according to LH this somehow shows HCQ plus does not help hundreds of thousands .

The MSM has told him it doesn't work so it doesn't work. Simple as that.

I thought these guys were supposed to be Pro Choice?

Whatever happened to "my body, my choice?"

Someone sent it to me.
If Trump had never said HCQ looked promising Big Pharma might still have dumped on it since they can't make billions off a 70 yr old drug

More HCQ misinformation:

Hydroxychloroquine, chloroquine linked to increased risk of death in hospitalized coronavirus patients, study finds

Hydroxychloroquine, chloroquine linked to increased risk of death in hospitalized coronavirus patients, study finds

Assessment from my Dr:

“Yeah that’s the VAH study in which the ventilator dependent were placed on the HCQ (hence the most severe cases likely to die ) compared to the 81,000+ control group who obviously would be less ill. This is what’s known as a flawed, poorly controlled study typical of what you might see in the US.

Why do you hate the US medical community? You know, we’re the best, right? Number one, right?

How about a non US study for you:

Paris (AFP) - A study of nearly 100,000 coronavirus patients has shown no benefit in treating them with anti-viral drugs hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine and even increased the likelihood of them dying in hospital.

Hydroxychloroquine shows no virus benefit, raises death risk: study

It has been shown ineffective with no measurable benefit.

:lmao:It's the same study as his. It's not from France.
