Colorado @ TCU

Considering how many LEFT after he was named HC, how else was Sanders supposed to build a roster?
I don’t recall why so many left. No confidence or Sanders forced them out? I think it was a combo of the two.

“Our roster was horrible,”Deion Sanders said in an interview. Sanders has been criticized for turning the Buffaloes roster over, bringing in more than 60 transfers to a program that went 1-11 last year. “It’s really not unconventional, we just did it at an alarming rate,” Sanders said. He said he only talked to about 20 players about how they would not be asked to return to the 2023 season. He said “the rest of them quit.”

This matches the little recollection that I had on the matter. I think the majority didn’t want to be associated with what looked like a shitshow.

Wow most of them quit?
Media certainly made it like he ran them off.
If you had a scholarship why quit?
It wasn't like they were highly recruited

Either way Deion was right

Shedeur Sanders might be the best QB in all of college football, and that's not even hyperbole. I thought his Jackson St. performances were all chalked up to "well it's FCS and kind of slow D" but he proved yesterday that his accuracy and arm strength are no joke. He's far more complete an athlete than anyone not named Cam Williams. He's miles ahead of Penix in movement.

I gave Travis Hunter a lot of **** for signing with Jackson, but no one can deny his abilities. He's easily a top-10 NFL pick at DB in the 2025 draft, and probably a first rounder if he was "only" a WR.

well, the rest of colorado's opponents are on notice, they are going to have to deal with speedy receivers and a QB who consistently throws a good ball.
its going to be fun to watch the buffs play the rest of the year.

Say what you will, but Deion backs up his swagger and big mouth. Always has. Now he’s doing it as a coach and it seems to be bleeding into his team. 1 game at CU is not a trend, but JSU success, the complete reload at CU and the win over TCU…something to watch.

Plus - that Hunter is an amazing story. 134 plays?

Is he going to play both ways every game?
well, his interception was an all-american play.

Colorado has a good chance to win 7 to 9 games.

Since Dion didn't get arrested when he sat foot in Texas he must have paid back all of the state money his charter school misappropriated.

I don't know. Hats off to Colorado for going in a taking a game on the road with an entirely new team (I'm sure that's not easy), but TCU looked like the worst team coming off the last Championship game...and they looked like the worst team to play in a Championship game the game before that. So...

That was a fun game to watch, though.

Also, I think it's funny that the Pac-12 just fell apart, but EVERY SINGLE team in the conference is undefeated so far.
