Colorado @ TCU

Colorado doing very well for being a completely new group of players

Colorado probably doing very well precisely because they are a completely new group of players.

Sanders' plan to revamp Colorado was one of the loudest unspoken admissions I'd ever heard that good/bad coaching in college mostly means good/bad recruiting.

Colorado looks to be a well coached team. Coach Prime may have a flamboyant persona, but that does not preclude him from coaching fundamentally sound football.

Good first half. Much respect for the Colorado player going both ways, especially since he is not used to this much heat where he lives.

It’s one of the cards he has to play to help win. Doing this is improving his chances to win. If he makes good football decisions and wins, this is just a soundtrack. If the football part of it is bad, the bravado will look silly, but my true evaluation of him will be whether he wins. And despite his crazy braggy hype, if he actually wins (meaning 5-6 games) he MUST be doing the football part of it right, and deserves coach of the year.
Honestly, they look well coached right now.
I mean, if he just annoys you, I get it, but he ought to be judged by results.
Not saying that Prime won’t do reasonably well, although I hope not. I’ve never been a fan of people that obsessively draw attention to themselves. And frankly, just based on inertia, he should win four or five games. After all, even Dorrell won four games in 2021.

Yes, the media will anoint him a savior, but that’s just hype. Now, if he gets this team to bowl game which I expect given the roster, that would be more progress. The difference in Colorado – this year versus last – is that because of his name, he has been able to attract a tremendous amount of talent. I’ll give him that.

53294 as TCU attendance record.

Isn't that about what REMAINS at DKR in the 4th quarter?

Morris isn’t really very good. Twice now he has been unable to see the field and understand the position of a defensive back. Both of his ints were ill-advised throws, or poorly positioned passes. Hopefully Texas can take advantage of his deficiencies later in the season.

outstanding interception by colorado to stop drive inside their ten yard line. This done by much bally-hood player playing both offense and defense

Really can't understand what Briles is doing, they should be running the ball down CU's throat. Morris certainly hasn't been very impressive, but the questionable play calling is hurting them more than anything

always have loved coach prime despite his persona. Anyone in his celebrity position that openly acknowledges Jesus Christ deserves credit.
