heh -- do you think CNN will be covering this story? It is right up their alley
-- a female
-- minority
-- elected Democrat
-- who heroically fought the virus and beat it.
It perfectly fits within their area of focus.
Right?
Errrrr ...........

"A Democratic state representative from Detroit is crediting hydroxychloroquine — and Republican President Donald Trump who touted the drug — for saving her in her battle with the coronavirus.

State Rep. Karen Whitsett, who learned Monday she has tested positive for COVID-19, said she started taking hydroxychloroquine on March 31, prescribed by her doctor, after both she and her husband sought treatment for a range of symptoms on March 18.

“It was less than two hours” before she started to feel relief, said Whitsett, who had experienced shortness of breath, swollen lymph nodes, and what felt like a sinus infection. She is still experiencing headaches, she said...."

Detroit rep says hydroxychloroquine, Trump helped save her life amid COVID-19 fight

If you recall the story of Michigan State Rep. Karen Whitsett^^^, whose life was saved by hydroxychloroquine and who thanked the POTUS for it?

Michigan Democrats are going to censure her for saying something positive about Trump

plus that black Dem in Ga? who voiced for Trump's handling of crisis is forced out of Dem party. I hope he becomes a Rep and gets reelected
What is it with how Dems treat Blacks who do not toe the line

But I thought diversity was our strength?

go figure

Canada: 1 million respirators acquired from China unfit for coronavirus fight

Canada's public health authority says around 1 million KN95 respirators acquired from China have failed to meet federal Covid-19 standards for use by front-line health professionals.

As a result, the federal government did not dispense the noncomplying masks to equipment-hungry provinces and territories, said Eric Morrissette a spokesperson for the Public Health Agency of Canada.

The failure of these respirators to meet Canadian requirements is yet another challenge for the country as it fights to secure PPE and medical supplies amid what has become a ferocious global competition.

I understand why the Democrats would target the guy in Georgia. He publicly endorsed Trump. What would we have done if (for example) Lamar Smith has endorsed Barack Obama? He probably would have been purged.

What they're doing in Michigan is much worse. She did endorse Trump. All she did was say nice things about him and hydroxychloroquine. Censuring her is pathetic.

What is it with how Dems treat Blacks who do not toe the line

It's because of their electoral coalition. Every scenario in which they win depends on virtually unanimous black support, because their support among whites is so poor in most states. They simply can't tolerate dissent among blacks. If any significant amount arises, they are dead.

We wouldn't have done a thing. Just like we haven't done a thing about Mitt Romney.

Hell I personally didn't like Trump even though I voted for him, my thought was anything was better than Hillery. But then he won and I woke up the next morning in complete shock.

Then I would cringe every time he spoke, but slowly I saw the opposition go insane with rage and realized they hate him more than anything I've ever seen.

The tipping point for me, in becoming a Trump fan has been two things.

1. Trump has done a great job of handling the Corona Virus.
2. The complete and utter Bull Crap coming from the left leaves me no doubt they would rather burn down this country than be lead by the right.

Now I'm willing to campaign for Trump if he needed it. Frankly, I doubt he needs it, individuals aren't stupid, they see the crap going on and know the lies coming from CNN, MSNBC etc.

Different situation. Romney voted to remove Trump and make Pence president. That isn't the same as affirmatively endorsing the other party's candidate. If Romney endorses Biden and still has no backlash, then I'll agree.

China directly invests in various Congressional Districts in the US. Not surprisingly, they often take public pro--China positions. And no telling what positions they take in private

Here are a few examples

NY-12 Rep. Carolyn Maloney Since 1992 Democrat $10.8 billion
Carolyn B. Maloney (D-NY) | OpenSecrets
Foreign Affairs

IL-7th Danny K. Davis Since Jan 7, 1997 Democrat $3.9 billion
Danny K Davis- Reports - Personal Finances

CA-12th Rep. Nancy Pelosi Since Jan 3, 2013 Democrat 3.7 billion
Nancy Pelosi- Reports - Personal Finances

There is a pretty long list of these. If you have a particular Democrat in mind, let me know

Maria Bartiromo has the best Sunday Morning show these days

Sen Tom Cotton is Harvard undergrad, Harvard Law, was a clerk on the 5th Cir, volunteered for the US Army infantry (after 9/11), served in Iraq as part of the 101st Airborne, served in Afghanistan and got a Bronze star.

I’m surprised a Tucker is still on the air.

He has the largest prime time audience of any of them.

Look, the thing to do about Carlson if you hate his broadcasts is not to cry about it and wish he would go away but rather to fashion better arguments than his. If you could and did do that, all of us would be better off for it

Didn’t mean to infer unpopularity but his hammer on sensitive issues.
Nice chart and it continues to amaze me just how popular Maddow remains.

Ive always sort of been on the fence about Bill Gates. I definitely liked Jobs more. And have been cussing out MSFT products for a couple decades now. However I always thought Gates' personal story was interesting and worthy of some praise

But this is enough to push me off the fence
