It goes with his corrupt machine party politics background--use public office to enrich oneself and one's family. It's very common. Many of the mechanisms to do this are legal, and some are not. It all stinks.

Both sides are accusing each other of cyber attacks. We’re also scolding them over Hong Kong and human rights issues.

China is saying Western nations don’t represent world opinion. China is shifting its focus to trade. HuaWei is a big ticket item. Amazingly, China is bringing up climate change?!?!?

Now if the stair lifter just had a porta-john aspect, so Slow Joe could drop a deuce in it instead of soiling his diapers as usual, it would be perfect. President Depends. Dude can't even walk up a flight of stairs, much less run the country.

Biden is a failure at enriching himself when he was in office. Decades as a Senator and in '07 he had a reported Net Worth of $30k. In fact, it wasn't until he left the office of VP that his net worth sky rocketed. Forbes estimates is worth now at $9M, due in part to an $8M book deal he signed in 2017. He has since invested in real estate.

Now, if the inference that Biden supports a mix of old-boy politics which typically means the wealthy get wealthier and the poor get a half step ahead of where the R's would land them then I agree.
 
In Biden’s case, much of the enriching went to family members. Who knows what he may have offshore?

What's interesting is that supposedly the defector defected to the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency), not either the FBI or CIA.

The DIA is traditionally considered less political, and less full of traitors, than either of the other two outfits. The story goes that he had lists of who the Chinese had corrupted and bought out, so he would know how many in the CIA and FBI were really working for China, and how he would die from suicide in their care, via two bullets to the back of the head.
