Chance of Football in 2020

Seems pretty obvious at this point Big Ten, with Pac12 close behind, is behind most of the push/momentum to forego Fall season. I say if you want to cx ..cx and leave everyone else alone if you are so confident in your decision-making.
And similarly, if you want a season, go for it and forget about what the others say.
 
The reason it's not possible to play football is that, at the slightest hint of THE 'RONA, all things stop, there has to be an evaluation, what's going on, where did it come from, etc etc. If they could just play and let the chips fall and then not panic and just sideline players and just keep playing regardless of which "stars" aren't playing, you could have football/sports. But I don't think "society as a whole" is capable of that.....
 
Well, if there’s not going to be a season what a perfect time to tell all these social justice dumb —- warriors who have zero clue what they’re talking about in the first place to go fork themselves.
 
Too early to tell, but initial reporting after P5 "emergency meeting" starting to creep out and, at least to me, indicate Big12 still leaning go, though cautious and tentative...
Meetings set for Monday and Tuesday should decide...though doctors involved, so....

Check K Bohls, Chuck Carlton and others via Twitter etc for sources..Other media outlets now giving official Big12 updates in real time via news stories this hour

Leaks do indicate Big10 primary entity behind push. ...Punks.

Are these president too stupid to see cases falling in FL, AZ, and CA? Do they not see the similarities between the states regarding the surge, peak and post peak? Is it too hard to understand that the virus reached the MW about 2-3 weeks behind the other states? SMH.

Why should college folk be expected to do a little, you know...research?
 
ACC, SEC, and B12 should say no thanks. You don’t play, you don’t compete for the NC. You have to put a team on the field to be considered. Simple as that.
 
Ok if the other conferences fold their season our conference will play and whoever wins the conference championship game wins the NC. There maybe an asterisk there but we played and they didn't.

How about any conference that doesn't play this season is ineligible for the NC next season?
 
If the other conferences fold (SEC won't), Chris needs to do these things in order:

1) Take a poll of Big XII - who wants to play and who doesn't

2) Get Dr Boren back to OU

3) Fire Bowelsby and hire Oliver Luck as commissioner

4) Make offers to certain schools to come play - Clemson, FSU, & GT tried to join the conference and Bowelsby & NeinASS ****** that up

5) Luck might draw Michigan & Ohio State - Nebraska & State Penn will want to come, but what do they offer?

Now you have two conferences, with the winners playing a Championship in NOLA

Hire Mike Defee as head of officials

SEC will never allow this to happen. They will have a season if half the country had the black death and the black poops.
