Cedric Benson Arrested

Because he is on the UT football team and all. The program cannot control people once they are gone. I just hope there weren't any current players on the boat. But as always it is nice to see the program associated with an arrest.

And no, me either. Never BWI, not even within a mile of it. If that ratio is true there are a lot of people that suck.
 
Forget Benson, His is no longer a college player and he can do whatever he wants. What is disturbing is that most of you think it is no big deal to be drunk while boating (this means you are the driver, not a passenger) and that you think it is no big deal to resist arrest either.

There is no reason to defend Benson, Clemens or others just because you were fans of their play.
 
Anyone find it odd that black athletes in Austin are routinely tazered, peppered, etc... I'm not trying to defend Beson, but this is a disturbing trend.
 
Most of them were probably drunk. Of course Benson was the only one to get arrested. The others probably wouldn't have helped fill the APD and Travis County Sheriff's arrest quota of current and former UT football players, so it would have been a waste of time.

I'm not defending Benson's actions, if what's being alleged is true, but this sounds like another incident that has been blown way out of proportion because someone with a badge wanted to talk to ESPN.
 
LightTheTower, fortunately for these ex-Texas athletes, the internet (specifically this website) is not the justice system. And the internet doesn't know all the facts and until then maybe the internet posters should let the justice system do it's job. There were many with the "head up the *** syndrome" in NC and maybe some around here should learn from that.

Why don't they show pictures of the boat, tell a little about it, what kind of engine, how she handles, where it is kept, and so on.
