CB Eric Cuffee (Feb 28)(Jan 28, 2016 COMMIT)

Here it comes, finally.

He recorded it this morning and he is going to TEXAS!

Says he is out recruiting for the Horns, with players like Elliot.

aggy reacts in typical manner, after they lose another recruit to Texas. One day he is a great player then:

I normally don't like to go to that "other site," but aggy has heard of the recruiting momentum and it's a s**t storm over there. They are so insecure.

The past few weeks Cuffee seemed to be locked, but I like a lot of y'all want to see him commit like this before I come to any conclusions. Good get for the Horns.

The first domino of many has fallen

Per 247:
One of the best personal trainers in the state, [Margin] Hooks works with a myriad of prospects including four-star Waco cornerback Eric Cuffee.

“(Cuffee is a) special player,” Hooks said. “I’m going to be watching the NFL Draft in the future, and he is going to get picked. There is no doubt in my mind.”

So what makes Cuffee so appealing to recruiters?

“Cuffee was already established when he started working with me,” Hooks said. “He’s one of the top corners in the state. He has it all. He has good technique, and he can cover anybody. He’s just an awesome player.

@ViperHorn - This post's 4 U :)))

Per TFB:
Prior to his visit, Cuffee was known as a Texas A&M silent commit but that changed shortly after his Texas visit. Cuffee took a lot of visits to Texas in the Spring and Summer which led some to believe Texas was the leader for Cuffee before he started trending heavily towards Texas A&M. Things swung back in Texas’ favor after the visit and that’s why I always say if a recruit and his family officially visit Texas, Charlie Strong and Co. will always have a chance.

Cuffee would’ve likely already been a Texas commit since the Under Armour game if ESPN had an open spot for him, as Cuffee has been recruiting for Texas for over a month now.

Cuffee mostly played corner in HS but when he plays against higher rated talent, like at the Under Armour All-America game the coaches felt he was better at safety or nickel, which is where I expect him to play at Texas. Even Coach Herm Edwards said about Cuffee at the UA Game “I don’t know if he’s a corner or a safety, but he’s a good player.”
