Brave UT Lineman Faces Illness

I hate hearing this.

I'm sure Lance will use this as an opportunity to serve as an example of strength and character to the rest of us until he can whip it and continue as before.

Lance, I will be praying for you to beat this thing. Have faith in God, and know that thousands of people--Horns, Sooners, Ags--people of all stripes are rooting for you to overcome cancer. Be strong and God bless!

One of my buddies had non-hodgkins lymphoma about 8 years ago. He had surgery and then went through several months of chemo. He got married 6 years ago and last year he and his wife had their second child.
Have faith, believe, and all things are possible.

God's Blessings on you Lance.

Positive thoughts and prayers will pull Lance through this. All the best of care and well wishes from the Longhorn Family to the McFarlands.

My cousin had hodgkins and he lived through it and is alive and well today, with no relapses.

Lance will get through this also.

I'm not worried. I think if your name is Lance and you get cancer its almost a good thing. Joking aside, God Bless. I'll be thinking about you

We all have a lot of fun on this board, but times like this make us all come together as one big family. Best wishes to you, Lance. All our thoughts are with you.
