I thought we had one of the more difficult regionals that we could have drawn. AF is about the toughest 4 seed out there, and they were near cryptonite to us earlier in the year. Somebody was messing with us putting AF in our regional...

DBU usually out-performs and over-achieves in the regionals, and is a very dangerous team to have in your regional. This year, DBU didn't live up to expectations. La Tech is a legit 2 seed. There are better 2 seeds, and there are worse 2 seeds. All should be fortunate that Texas State was not in our regional. The ags should likewise be glad Texas State didn't end up in CS. Tx St > TCU this year. Their batting lineup can ignite and big #s of runs can appear on the scoreboard.
 
As for Omaha:

Aside from Tennessee, ND is the potential opponent I've seen with the most quality pitching depth. The Irish bullpen looks stout. Stout as a Guinness on a cold winter's day.

For any Longhorn fans making the trip to E Carolina, beware of that creepy dude they kept showing in tight inside-out shorts. He behaves like a pirate who has been out to sea for far too long. :yikes:
