Big 12 tournament

I swear, I'm so pissed that LaShann hasn't played more minutes this season. I'm sorry, but, i stand by that.
 
I'm so glad LaShann is playing and being an offensive threat tonight. I'm also peeved that she has basically not played many meaningful minutes all season long. We are gonna need her next year.
 
Same old broken record. Karen out coached by Mulkey. Our game plan never changes. Just keep trying same old stuff and hope for a different outcome. Maybe it will work the 15th time we play Baylor.
 
Kelsey has 8 points but she really struggles inside. Any time she gets deep post position they would be better off not even giving her the ball.
 
Higgs was totally lost on the offense for most of the season and was a turnover or bad shot waiting to happen. Glad it's come together for her late in conference play

Actually she didn't get to play enough during the middle of the season to make that an accurate statement. And if she had played more, maybe it would have come together for her so that she could have helped us win the OK, and Baylor cubed games. Just a thought.
 
not enough of those plays that ended the quarter. 19 pts off TOs for BU to our 10. We only have 13 TOs at the end of the 3rd while BU has 10. But they are 10% better than us in shooting, 52 to 42.
 
Lang struggles because she refuses to JUMP. She gets better position and has a better touch, she just need to JUMP.

Which is why they should run plays for her to get that jumper inside the foul line. So many plays are missed opportunities.

She seemed to be a liability to me. I'll take the wins, ranking and great seed. I'm sure she must have been showing the same weakness in practice

We really don't know if she was a liability because there were several conference games that she played only 2-3 minutes,s or none at all. My point is that we are going to need her next year, and it sure would have been nice to get her more experience THIS year. I agree that I'm happy with the wins this year too.

I don't think it's that we are out-coached as much as Baylor is just a little bit better than us this year. We've closed the gap but overall they are bigger and more athletic than most of our girls. Sometimes you just have to give the other team credit. With the talent we have coming in next year, we will soon start winning these games.
 
Higgs is our leading scorer tonight with 12 points on 60% shooting and where is she? On the bench with 5 minutes left in the game.
 
I don't usually complain about refs, but it really has been one-sided tonight. Count me among those pissed that Lashann has gotten so little time this year. Oh great, now she's going out again. If someone knows why, please tell me. Doesn't matter now, but she is really fun to have on the team.
 
I am sure there were more, but I can only recall maybe three attempts all game from BTA. I mean when you are forcing the ball into Hattis, you truly have decided not to even try to get a three. Why is that?
