Big 12 Awards

There were 2 other individual awards: Baylor got 6th Man of Year (Lauren Cox) and Kansas' Jessica Washington was named Newcomer of the Year.

Every year I contact the Big 12 Conference, asking the 6th MAN award be retitled 6th WOMAN. Someday they will. Hope I'm still alive!

Other coaches have been itching to vote for programs other than BU. Unfortunately, no other team has given them reason to. This year, beating BU that was the opening they needed. There is no secret that KM isn't particularly popular among her peers. Not because she wins, but because she's generally a shitbag of a person.

The BU board is absolutely fuming over these awards hahahaha. It's a great thing to read. You would even assume just reading those comments that Texas kick their *** in Waco and lead the majority of the game in Austin.

Now this can go 1 of 2 ways. We can either buckle up and be who we (and other B12 coaches) know we are, or we've just motivated BU in a major way. I am excited to see the rubber meet the road in Oklahoma City.
