President Asthma pissed off the United Association, the Ute's, Canada, and the entire Oil and Gas industry on his first day. Not sure how many people are in the Country's wealthiest Indian tribe, but the United Association snub will bring some serious backlash.

Local media here resisted a lot of the national political stuff for a long time, but for the 2020, it all changed, probably forever. They collectively lost their minds and went full in with Trump-hate/pro BLM stuff, all stations. It was really disappointing to watch. Objectivity out the window. So, there is no reason to expect they will report honestly on this issue either.

Are you kidding? They aren't that specific when blaming others. They'll just lump oil workers into all other unemployment while blaming the bad old republicans and Trump.

Houston will take a hit in the drilling sector. Capital projects will dry up and will dry up engineering and technical employment. Refining and petrochemicals will do ok because demand will remain at current low levels. I expect a major downturn but not as bad the early 80s.

The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating Elon Musk’s SpaceX for allegedly preferring to hire American citizens over non-citizens.

According to the DOJ, in March 2020, a non-U.S. citizen inquiring about the position of technology strategy associate at SpaceX was asked about his citizenship status. DOJ attorney Lisa Sandoval stated that SpaceX “ultimately failed to hire him for the position because he is not a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.”

Last Thursday, the DOJ filed a request with a judge “to order SpaceX to comply with an administrative subpoena for documents related to how the company hires,” CNBC reported. The DOJ wants SpaceX to comply with its subpoena within two weeks.​

Do you think that matters to our new administration? They are only about buying votes to maintain absolute power so they can continue to extract every penny from the working class into their billion dollar bank accounts.

How long before there no longer is a middle class and the US is a 3rd world country? I actually hope I'm dead before it happens, but eventually it will.

I already rarely go to Kroger due to the normal store being dirty and the stupid Kroger card system. Their recent political statements guarantee I’ll never go again.

I have not read their political statements but I agree with what they did here, refusing to be held hostage for pay increases.
