Beto Does it Again

What am I missing. People who want to ban abortion would not be likely to be against something that IF USED ( novel concept) would prevent pregnancy.

Dems doing stupid **** instead of helping the working man. They are nuts.

Some view certain forms of birth control as abortion but too lazy to google for an example. That doesn't mean those folks view all forms of birth control as bad.

I've long viewed Beto as a lightweight, with plenty of goofy ideas, and an irrational fear of firearms, but I tell you what: Beto is flat-out out-campaigning Abbott.

My current view: Beto is still a lightweight with ideas, policy, and debating, but he's a super-heavyweight campaigner. Dude could actually win.

Beta is lazy when it comes to getting a real job, but he's not a lazy campaigner. He does give it his all. Will it be enough to win? I doubt it, but if Abbott doesn't get off his *** (figuratively, obviously he can't literally), it could be close as it was in '18 with Cruz.

Chop,

I disagree. Beto cannot win, BUT Abbott can lose.

As for those two voters being too young, I'm sure the campaign manager chose them for the photo shoot because he did not want Beto pictured between the headstones of two of his voters.

They'd be pissing in the wind. I don't advocate banning birth control, but I don't see how a federal law on the issue would hold up in court.
I haven’t read the bill but I am guessing that any entity receiving federal funds would be required to make contraceptives available. This would be justified as necessary to protect the God given right to not reproduce

Roman Catholic Church would oppose. No clue as to what the six RCs on the SC might react

You'd think they'd be that smart, wouldn't you? But no. Link.

Instead, the bill says a, "person has a statutory right under this Act to obtain contraceptives and to engage in contraception, and a health care provider has a corresponding right to provide contraceptives, contraception, and information related to contraception."

Interestingly, it doesn't even say that a healthcare provider has a duty to provide contraception.

Abbott hates rural people because he isn't giving them phones and internet? What kind of idiocy is this?

Rural people aren't going to vote for cheap phones and internet if it means endorsing 9 percent inflation, racial essentialism, gun control, and girls having to shower with dudes.

Saw a lady with a Beto shirt on at Hobby tonight. All I’ll say about it is she looked the part.
I went the past few days with next to no libtiles in the room...it was great.

Poker tournaments are still very much a bastion of conservative thought...although I did manage to take the crown at my table yesterday when we had someone in the 8 seat with most of the T$100 chips in his stack...I quickly ended the conversation with "but, black chips matter." Even the dealer was laughing...

Through the day, we got to skewer MANY of the left's sacred cows...actually throughout the few days of the tournament event...if there were libtiles at the table (and there were A LOT of people who made the drive from Texas), they were at least smart enough to keep their mouth shut.

Hey man.

Beto just wants to make sure that when rural folks dial up into their America Online accounts to read HookEm.com, it doesn’t take more than a minute or two.

Update: Following a Beto O’Rourke Event, Conservatives Boycott the Wrong Big Al’s

"Call it a case of mistaken identity. Calls for a protest began after a Waxahachie, Texas eatery, Big Al’s Down the Hatch, hosted an event for gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke on the afternoon of Sunday, August 7.

Following the event, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that there was a call for boycotts of the restaurant in social media groups. However, some folks pointed their ire at the wrong Big Al’s, and instead, a barbecue restaurant in Dallas has been drowning in emails from people who say they won’t be eating there again."

Beto a hypocrite on guns, race and hecklers

:fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire:

"O'Rourke is a gem, bless his heart. He disdains someone interrupting his meeting, yet interrupted the emotionally charged meeting in Uvalde with his as usual politicized rubbish, where the grieving people of Uvalde were having a meeting with Gov. Greg Abbott. O'Rourke was kicked out of there.

And not too long ago, O'Rourke was booted out of Rockdale because they don't want him either. There he was protected by his armed guards. And O'Rourke's Democrat pals in Washington are openly seeking IRS Agents who are “willing to use deadly force" — meaning against the American people.

Yet O'Rourke is so adamant about gun control. Yea right — gun control for us, but not for him and his Democrat buddies."

Beta is giving liberals false hopes again. However, I must admit that Abbott is underperforming. 46 percent for a Republican incumbent governor in Texas in a Republican year isn't good even if people aren't looking to Beta.

I wonder what Abbott did that some people don't like?
He ended the stupid mask mandate and reopened Texas last year long before other states
. He sent to Texas NG to border to try to slow the illegals. He is building a wall where Biden won't.
He is sending Illegals to DC and NY which is waking up some Dems living there.
What else can a Gov't do with the limited powers he has?
Could it be the typical woke media skewering him?
