That’s all he’s got.

He has had his minions out this morning on the bird app...several self-owned when they posted screenshots from different sites that track outages...complete with the line that ERCOT grid status: NORMAL. And then, the same sites showed several other States with more outages than Texas had...That’s all he’s got.
And many of those were not 'freezing to death' but were people who either fell in the category of too stupid to read carbon monoxide rules related to using devices in a closed setting OR were people who were not in a residence connected to the ERCOT grid...Official count of death toll is 246.
Beta still having trouble with the truth
Or they died of the Coronavirus. Better double count them. And many of those were not 'freezing to death' but were people who either fell in the category of too stupid to read carbon monoxide rules related to using devices in a closed setting OR were people who were not in a residence connected to the ERCOT grid...
Choad.

That's generally a local issue - it's not Abbot's job to trim the branches in Austin neighborhoods (though maybe he could/should at least use his position to prod them to do so), it's Austin Energy's or the City of Austin's.
There was plenty to criticize about state leadership from the freeze last year. Even now, probably still plenty to criticize, as it does not appear that most of the issues were actually addressed, meaning we're seem to be mostly just as vulnerable as before.
But his specific complaints about power outages from last week's freeze are disingenuous if not dishonest. Those had nothing to do with the overall Texas Grid, winterizing plants, insufficient supply, etc - they happened because of ice bringing branches down on lines. Lightning struck a nearby electrical box leading to a three hour blackout.Watch Beto tell Abbot that falling tree limbs are dangerous.
I propose that, in light of the storms taking out the power of more than 120K homes in the UK, we send Beta overseas. We don't want anything in return. They can keep him. They can get sick of his pontificating about keeping the power on...
Great idea! Can we make it a package deal and send Kamala with him?we send Beta overseas. We don't want anything in return. They can keep him.
