Beto Does it Again

That’s all he’s got.
He has had his minions out this morning on the bird app...several self-owned when they posted screenshots from different sites that track outages...complete with the line that ERCOT grid status: NORMAL. And then, the same sites showed several other States with more outages than Texas had...

I think a better nick name for this guy is Cool-o.
Mr. Freeze.

One of Beto's old heroes, Jimmy Carter, in his sweater, talking about energy policy:

Around 2:00 Carter bemoans oil & gas workers losing jobs, and congratulates Congress on passing the Emergency Natural Gas act.

3:31 "We will also stress development of our rich coal reserves..." Describes atomic energy as necessary.

What happened to this sort of Democrat?

Official count of death toll is 246.
Beta still having trouble with the truth
And many of those were not 'freezing to death' but were people who either fell in the category of too stupid to read carbon monoxide rules related to using devices in a closed setting OR were people who were not in a residence connected to the ERCOT grid...

Or they died of the Coronavirus. Better double count them.

Abbott’s animal can be the Longhorn, or the rattlesnake.

Beto’s animal can be the crawdad.

No better way to protect a right guanteeded by the Constitution than to confiscate at cop gunpoint the things that right guanteeded.

Beta Male's animal is about to be the dead armadillo in the middle of the road, after a 20 point loss in November. His only shot was another 100 year freeze that would have played into his theme of how Abbott is incompetent.

Now with temps in the 70's, his hopes are melting away like a frozen turd in the toilet, sliding down the bowl and leaving nothing but a **** stain.

Can't wait till the election when I can vote against this turd, and flush him down the toilet once and for all.

From Beto’s website:

“I will keep the lights on in Texas. This guy [photo of Abbott] sure can’t.”

There was plenty to criticize about state leadership from the freeze last year. Even now, probably still plenty to criticize, as it does not appear that most of the issues were actually addressed, meaning we're seem to be mostly just as vulnerable as before.

But his specific complaints about power outages from last week's freeze are disingenuous if not dishonest. Those had nothing to do with the overall Texas Grid, winterizing plants, insufficient supply, etc - they happened because of ice bringing branches down on lines. That's generally a local issue - it's not Abbot's job to trim the branches in Austin neighborhoods (though maybe he could/should at least use his position to prod them to do so), it's Austin Energy's or the City of Austin's.

Watch Beto tell Abbot that falling tree limbs are dangerous.

You're right, and any rational person will agree. However, political hacks are not rational so they'll blame 2021 issues on 2022 events. And worse, their supporters will agree, "Yup - a frozen limb failing on a Dallas power line is Abbott's fault!"

I propose that, in light of the storms taking out the power of more than 120K homes in the UK, we send Beta overseas. We don't want anything in return. They can keep him. They can get sick of his pontificating about keeping the power on...

We don't want him. Brits don't even like him when he's Irish, much less when he's pretending to be a Mexican.

Beto celebrates his landslide victory in the primaries.

A formidable candidate, Beto won an overwhelming victory with a whopping 91.3% of the vote. :yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes:

Abbott pulled in 2/3 of the GOP vote - which is pretty poor for a two term governor in a non-battleground state. As it should be - Abbott's performance during the Wuhan panic resembled a trash bag blowing around in the wind.

He's lucky that in Beta Male he has an opponent that the 1/3 of GOP primary voters who didn't vote for him, will all gladly cast a vote against the fake Mexican come November.

10-15 point win for Abbott, depending on how many times Bobby O'Rorke verbally shits himself during the campaign.

^The Democrats are welcome to focus on the fringe elements of the electorate - they will drive the center of the electorate away (and assure GOP victories).
