1. Jacquizz Rodgers(Lamar Consalidated) Runningback Oregon State, 2008 Pac10 offensive player of the year as a freshman

2. Vince Young(Madison) we all know who he is

3.Rashad Bobino(La Marque) He was good for 3-4 HUGE hits everytime I saw him play, he lead his team to a undefeated 4A championship season

4.Russell Shepard(Cypress Ridge) QB Going to LSU I am sure all of you know about him

5.Larry Kerlegan(La Marque) QB for La Marque played on same team as Bobino.... Legit 4.4 speed. Don't know what happened to him after HS

I rambled down to Memorial Stadium to see a high school playoff game that included Eric Dickerson of Sealy. Awesome player.

It used to be fun to go watch a second half high school playoff game for free back when I was in college. I don't think you can do that anymore.
 
Curtis Dickey at Bryan High School. They played in the same district with Temple, Killeen, and I think Waco, and nobody kept Dickey under control all year. He was the biggest factor in Bryan beating a great Killeen team. It's a shame he went on to play for aggy...I'd have loved to see what he could do with some real linemen in front of him at UT.

Tyson thompson of irving, that dude was so talented its a shame he was such a knucklehead. And this year stephan taylor of mansfield, he was the epitomy of a one man team.
 
Adrian Peterson (Palestine vs. Huntsville). He ran for about 300 yards on 27 or 28 carries. Looked like he was a foot taller and twice as fast as anyone else out there. I'll never forget one of the Huntsville safeties he flattened on his way to a TD.

Earl, of course was our guy. Warren was not, but I sure wish he had been. Legend has it that Earl only decided on UT because he had to pee.
 
Billy Sims- Hooks Texas

I know I know about the other night and alot of other times but, there damn sure haven't been many better Texas High School football players than him.

I go to the Army All America bowl every year so have seen many recent greats. I have never seen a lineman dominate as much as Roy Miller did in that game or a better runner than Reggie Bush.
Well I also remember seeing Perriwinkle cracking jokes behind the bench while not even paying any attention to the game.
