Beat Kentucky

I agree. We almost let that one get away. I hope we can win the next one. The Ladies have had a great season but with the advantage of home court kind of in the final four in San Antonio and for the seniors who have given us four great years I hope we can advance. Go Horns!

Both teams must be fighing it out. Probably home court is a big advantage to Kentucky but our Ladies are fighing. Come on Horns! Fight and Win! Let's take this fourth game!

I didn't get to watch it but kept up on GameTracker and they did mess up a couple of times. Hope they do better. Glad we won the match!

just read on another thread that Eck was injured? Does anyone know if that is true & if so how bad? I think we've already had our share of injuries for the year

Eckerman played tonite!
A little sloppy on service receive.
And not good blocking!
Too many services errors!

Before the match, the announcers said Eckerman took a bad spill after hitting a ball yesterday in practice. They said it was because she wasn't used to the sport court on the floor.

During the live press conference after the match, she had a huge bag of ice wrapped around her back and was walking very gingerly.

Hopefully, it's not too bad.

Yikes! I've been trying to get on Kentucky's site to see the presser but their server is to busy. I'm hoping she is doing ok tomorrow. Thanks for the update.

Here in Kentucky, and Eck did not seem to be injured. She had a rough night serving but I thought her hitting got stronger as they night progressed. Was in a panic when Amber went out to start in the front line but Haley was immediately subbed in before the first serve. Maybe the decision to play her was a gametime decision. Glad she was good to go and hope she will be ready for UCLA.

I hope we can win it all but this team has already exceeded my expectations this year with all the young players we had here plus the injuries. The staff and Ladies have done a fantastic job this year. I hope they can beat UCLA and make the final four for the seniors and have advantage of home court in San Antonio.
