Baylor game

Yeah, the contrast on HD was high and you could barely see that line. I am sure the players have no problem seeing it, and that (after all) is what truly matters.
 
Of all things to consider, I have to say Barnes with no tie two straight games was a question I had as well.
Thought he might have just taken it off in respect for pregame conversation with Knight on Sat. but he did it again vs BU.
Pretty minor BS, Hell I wore them for forty years, enjoy not having to now but wouldn't wear a suit w/out a tie either.

I'm gonna disagree. Acy isn't used to playing defense, and in fact gets in foul trouble so easily his minutes aren't really where we need them. I think we've finally taught him to keep his feet a bit, but he still is pretty weak in team defense, which is illustrated on the point you made about aj's shot. and it isn't like G. Johnson hadn't been killing us the last few minutes which probably had acy's attention.

Dunn is also a terrible team defender. just tends to look at the ball too much and not his man, thus you saw Mason get some wide open looks in the lane.

unfortunately, we don't have a ton of depth and so we have to play Dunn, plus he's an expolsive scorer, so we need him on the floor at times.

in regards to Dunn's assists, he is in there to shoot and score, that's his role. carter/dugat/jerrells get assits on our team. I think Dunn will grow as a passer, but right now, he isn't very good at passing so he primarily either shoots or gives it back to whoever is running point.

in general, the baylor team, while fairly athletic (although overstated on this thread) does not have a high basketball IQ. Is that the fault of the coach? maybe, but some of it is on the players, too. I know, for a fact, the players don't often execute, especially defensively, what they are told.

in the end, college hoops is about 80% talent. Baylor has good talent and we're a good team. Should we be better? maybe. but for our talent, I definitely don't think we're underachieving. for goodness sakes, Josh Lomers gets minutes on our team. would he even dress if he was on your roster?
 
I know threes got them back in the game on Monday, but I thought Drew made a big mistake when they started out on that nine minutes without a field goal and he did not get Acy back into the game.

And the FG that broke the drought was a dunk. Just sayin'.
