I watch a blind couple attend every school event from sports to dance to parent nights at my daughter's school. They are obviously not wealthy. Literally, sometimes they walk miles to attend these events using a stick to walk down the streets. Thankfully, most parents know them now and pick them up when possible.
Guess what. Both of their kids are model students despite their tough circumstances. I only wish I was as good a parent as those two are.
