Baker Mayfield on TX QB Sam Ehlinger: Hope He Knows I Don't Like Him

He has done some pretty stupid things and gotten away with them but none as bad as the time he hit the TCU football player in the helmet during warm ups. The TCU football players should have made him pay for that. No way he walks out of the stadium at the end of that game.

He will either change or pay with a shortened career. He is a prick with ears.
I just looked that up.
What a jerk.
Someone needs to get this to Luther Campbell.
A good rebuttal for Sam would be to get the TCU players name and mention it. Have everyone google it and decide for themselves what kind of person this guy is.
Most in the conference already know.

Coaches have the power to change this type of behavior.

The coaching pedigree at many schools, certainly including Blow U, doesn’t possess the courage and discretion to address such antics the way they should be addressed. I’ll go out on a limb and say that Mack, Charlie or Tom wouldn’t have stood for it.

I also believe that Patterson at TCU missed an opportunity. He should have made a public statement after observing such behavior, and made an issue of it. Doing so would have been controversial and attracted the ire of plenty of many genius pundants whose opinion is worth nothing.

It takes courage to do the right thing, and to publicly call out unacceptable behavior. Few these days have such courage.

Cannot agree more!!!!
I don’t know why but this one really bothers me.
Just think what’s done not caught on camera.
Drilling a kid just jogging on the field, while the guy with the camera cracks up.
This is the exact behavior we are trying to eradicate at the elementary, and middle school level.
He’s just being a dog? Give me a break.
He’s just being an a$*

Baker Mayfield personifies the negative stereotype many have of "jocks".
We all had experiences with this type of personality growing up playing sports in middle school and high school. Sadly they tend to overshadow the good kids who play sports.
Justly, most of these personalities peak at 18 and some learn the hard way how to be humble and decent people. Others end up being deadbeat Uncle Rico types...

There are exceptions to this rule. Some are truly talented enough to avoid having to grow up. BM seems to be one of these. He many never have to grow up, and he might make a lot of money, but he'll always be a giant douche.

One day, if he has children, they'll be even more insufferable for having a giant douche as an father figure. But they won't be worth a **** at anything they do, much less football. So I guess there is that as far as karma goes.

Baker reminds me of the jealous fat girl that hates the Prom queen because she has everything that said fat girl wants.

yours is funnier, but it really feels like the 4th hottest girl in class who is hot and has appeal, but she'll never be the prom queen. And because there's a slight chance of winning, she's consumed with jealousy and undercuts the most popular girl any time she can.

According to Gary Patterson, he did that more than once while at Tech also.

So why was the OU homer acting as the B 12 commissioner in hiding?

I understand Patterson not allowing retalliation and that was the smart thing to do, but I think I might have taken a play from the old coach at the LA Lakers’ playbook and run in a ”ringer” for a few plays.

Baker didn’t do what must “normal” college kids do either.
Most when publicly intoxicated don’t run from the police,
and then get form tackled by Officer Stapanski after 5 steps.
