Robinson said we cost him his moment. What about the Bama committment that took it in good faith that he was going to Alabama and now will be replaced by Robinson. You may be costing someone much more than a moment Robinson.

I think we've swung in that (negative) direction, and it'll take a major change to redirect this program. And as we all know, when you bring in a new coach there's zero guarantee things will click.

The only thing going for us now as opposed to 1985'sih is every blue chip in Tx had the rest of the country talking to kids saying "the whole SWC is on probation, or will be" and that hurt not just us but everyone in the conf that didn't have Jackie Sherrill as HC (non stop payola)

Now, we're in a shaky conference (1985) kids are turning us down for another conference (aggy, now Robinson to Bama). Not only is the program sucking ON the field, the perception to kids is not a positive one. If your kid was a 5* Junior @ Plano, how do you commit to Mack knowing he'll be gone? Instead, as is, he'll look at aggy first. We used to get that first look....those days are going, fast
