In truth, I'm not a fan of the cigar social media. Too much "we're back" in that optic. Too much "that's our whole season."

I'm more afraid of having one of those "off nights" losing to someone like Kansas, OSU or Baylor than being left out. Even in 2004 VY had to make a 13ish yard 4th down run against Kansas otherwise we never would have played USC and won the championship. If we win we're in.

2004 KU was the year we played Michigan in the Rose bowl. In 2005, we had tough games against Ok St at their place and aggy at Pyle.

Still to early but FSU is not a number three team and does not have a better resume than the Horns. Beating LSU at home < Beating Bama at home by double digits. Georgia and Michigan and SC look good on paper. Nc

As someone else stated, USC was the following year. And it was 4th and 18 that Vince single handedly converted. Don’t be shortchanging VY!
