AOC is correct...

Does that include the blatant sexism?

Marx himself described government intervention in capitalist economies as the way to weaken and break them in order to present communism as the solution. The Nordic countries never went that far but that was the initial intent probably. But then they were wise enough to back off from the march downhill. So now they consider themselves social democracies, capitalist but with government provision of some key services.

And most of them are, if anything, transitioning toward freer economies. That's what makes our people so dumb. The countries they claim to want to emulate are moving in the opposite direction.

Yes. The Scandinavian countries are walking back from the brink because they walked up to it slowly and paid attention to the economic effect of their creeping Socialism. They were doing it out of true pragmatism not ideology. Those countries have a close national identity and they more or less want what is best for their people, relatively speaking. This is true of those countries because they are small, ethnically narrow, and have shared a recent difficult history at least most of them.

The US doesn't have any of those things and is much more an amalgamation of 9 or 10 different nations which are each racially and ideologically very diverse.

Remember when AOC called for a boycott of GOYA products?
CEO Bob Unanue responded by naming her "employee of the month" for helping increase sales.

Now she is selling "Tax the Rich" shirts
For $65

Did AOC actually look at this to know how bad this looks from a PR standpoint? When she was a bartender, did she buy $65 sweatshirts? Because if she did, that would explain why she had a hard times financially. I make a lot more than a bartender does, and I just bought a $22 sweatshirt (which has a hood). Of course, mine doesn't shout down capitalism. I guess that's the big difference.

Frankly, this is kinda revealing. It shows that the real market here isn't poor people. It's virtue signaling well-off people.

I've noticed the phrase "angry rich women" popping up more and more
They are probably the target demographic

Dems have gained control of education, media, government bureaucracy, legal profession and the courts, etc and now going for the professional class.

it has been a long time since I was poor but the idea of paying $65 for a shirt is out of this world and pretty indicative of what she and her lemmings are like.

Lol!

AOC and Trump are 2 sides of the same coin. Those that purchased a cheap China made hat for $30 you are no different then the AOC supporter. Gullible.

Funny:
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had a swift response for conservatives criticizing her for selling a “Tax the Rich” sweatshirt for $58. The price was right, the left wing New York Democrat said, because the campaign merchandise was made by unionized workers in the US rather than in China, unlike political wear sold by, for example, Donald Trump.

Cute deflection Deez
So you don't know?? Maybe they were but saying so does not make it true
You are taking the word of AOC

I found it interesting that the ad claims it was a pre-order...so the suckers will pony up and then, somehow, supply chain issues will present themselves. Meanwhile, the funds have already been exhausted and thus no refunds. If only the peasants would have put in the collective labor, you could have had your shirt...

Dr Joe
I seriously wonder if anyone on the left can see anything wrong with Biden et al trying to suppress free speech?
Not a single lib poster on here has said anything about any of the economy or social damaging steps Biden et al have taken in just 3 weeks.
