A couple of lawyers from Colorado that jumped on the bandwagon filing baseless lawsuits without any due diligence have been ordered to pay the legal costs of the opponents.

"Opponents" would be named election officials from 4 states, Mark Zuckerberg and Dominion Voting Systems.

Magistrate Judge N. Reid Nureiter ruled that the two attorneys who filed the lawsuit must pay the legal fees of the defendants.

“The lawsuit put into or repeated into the public record highly inflammatory and damaging allegations that could have put individuals’ safety in danger,” Nureiter wrote, noting the Jan. 6 insurrection was spurred by the lies it repeated, as were threats against election and Dominion officials. “Doing so without a valid legal basis or serious independent personal investigation into the facts was the height of recklessness.”

A comprehensive review of police officer bodycam footage from the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol found roughly 1,000 instances of assault against members of law enforcement who were trying to protect the building, according to a series of new legal filings by the Justice Department.

"Based on a review of the body-worn camera footage conducted by our Office, the footage displays approximately 1,000 events that may be characterized as assaults on federal officers," prosecutors from the U.S. Attorney's Office in Washington, D.C., wrote in several discovery filings for Capitol rioter cases this week.

The department says it has transferred more than 2,900 body camera videos "totaling over 2,300 hours (nearly 100 days)" into a database that they are working to make available to defense attorneys for the nearly 600 alleged rioters charged in connection with the attack.

They're all hacks. What I find kinda interesting is that these people were clearly advising the president rather than acting as unconnected journalists or commentators. How many of them defended Chris Cuomo for advising his brother? I'm not saying Cuomo deserved to be defended.
