The kid was right. At least #40 is marginally acceptable for a RB (marginal for a HB, totally acceptable for a FB). #60 for a LB on the other hand...
BTW, for those of you claiming #60 is such a popular number for LBs, still waiting on one of you to produce a list of premier LBs (college or NFL) to have donned the vaunted #60 over the past 25 years. Hell, let's open it up to starting LBs (college or NFL).

In my day, 40s were for FBs and Safeties. And we liked it. Weee LOVED it.
