Affirmative Action is now dead

60 to 80?

I regularly bury minority women who require oversized caskets. Happens with white women too, but in the anecdotal case of my experience, at a much lower rate.

If you need an extra wide, XXW, or even bigger casket, you're well past 100lbs overweight.

You don't even have to bury them. All you have to do is take a trip to Wal Mart.

The liberal ‘woke’ atmosphere at UT is unfortunately well known. She certainly feels welcome there.
We may never get statistical verification but the vax may well contribute to childbirth mortality. I am aware of a mother vaxed and boosted (before pregnancy) developing blood clot issues late in pregnancy and then fetal distress in one of her twins resulting in the loss of both at 28-29 weeks. No other outstanding health issues in mom. So very very sad.

No, she cannot be fired, but unless there is something in her contract that says Texas has to defend her actions (legal or otherwise), Texas can refuse to defend her from the lawsuits that probably are on their way.

Honestly, I'd rather see the people who hired her fired than her fired. They are the real problem.

Furthermore, her comment about journalism is even more worrisome than her views on DEI. This statement is terrible and becoming far too common among journalists.

"We can’t just give people a set of facts anymore. I think we know that and we have to tell our students that. This is not about getting two sides of a story or 3 sides of a story, if one side is illegitimate."

This is a recipe for ideological propangandizing. It will always be a conservative side that is deemed "illegitimate."

You forgot those who granted her tenure.

I'd like to see both fired. "If one side of a story is illegitimate"? WTF.

It's about time
What is amazing though is many orgs are not learning.

So, how is this any different than southern rednecks still being called racist after they were told they can't be? Now schools won't give non white people preference but it's only because they can't? They're still racist.

See how that works?

Yes.

Kind of like one is sorry for a transgression, but really they are only sorry they got caught.

I'd recommend that male applicants put on makeup and a dress in their videos. Don't lie and say you're a tranny. That'll get you expelled if they find out otherwise. Just make it seem obvious by looking like that freak show Jeffrey Marsh.

Every white, male, and/or Christian applicant should write about how difficult it is to live in a country that hates them, put things that disgust them on media every day, and enacts laws that hold them back from academic and career opportunities. I wonder what would happen?

Nothing good.

Rejection letters would happen. And after that, I hope lawsuits happen. It's not enough to get affirmative action struck down. The people doing this will come up with every BS proxy for race they possibly can, and it's going to take an onslaught of litigation costing huge money for them to back down.

And I'm not sure they ever will, because the individual costs of being the guy inside the institution who says, "folks, we better just choose applicants on academic merit. This is costing too much" will be enormous. He'll get demonized to no end for "selling out" or putting a price tag on "justice." That stupid Oberlin college defamation lawsuit showed us that. Those dumbasses could have gotten out of that for damn near nothing, but instead they held out for "righteousness" and ended up writing a $25M check.

Litigation is a necessary part of the solution. But I think conservative states should outlaw any forms of race essentialism in college admissions. Penalty should be firing and jail. Conservatives need to use power to reshape these institutions from the top down. DeSantis and Rufo are starting to do this in Florida. No jail, but they are firing people and others are quitting due to the pressure. I think most professors will just go along with the changes.
