Lots of this and use it liberally. After 6-8 months, all your possessions will be safe. I know, I have a lab!

Oh, and use lots of this liberally!

Our black lab female took the two full years we were told it would take to get them out of the puppy phase.

next time I will not choose the biggest--we got ourselves an Alpha female Marley

She's great at 3.5 now. Get her in water often.

oh god jmrob...I have the same thing....the biggest alpha chocolate female EVAR.....total pain in the ***.
She is 6 years old and still acts like she is 1.5

I have 2 yellows and all the advice has been good. You have to remember they are 2 year olds that will never grow up but will begin to run out of steam. Don't leave anything within reach of them. They will be great for months and then get bored and destroy something they can reach or knock over.

Exercise, exercise and if I didn't mention it - exercise them.

Do NOT feed them anywhere except where their bowls are. Even if its not people food, do not feed them in the kitchen, in the door way or anywhere but the same place where they get fed regularly. Trust me on this one.

Best dogs in the world though, seriously.
