Love the Horns but with their offense No way do they deserve to be ranked 2nd. There are several teams better than UT due to their offenses alone.
 
you don't have to get 27 outs to beat us, since we give up 4 to 5 outs every game. It would be okay if we had a bunch of 300-400 hitters who could then drive them in after giving up the out, but.......Not.
 
Small ball only works a small percentage of the time.

You know, I don't care if the 'Horns are 5 games into a double elimination conference tournament, they have a national seed sewn up, and there's not really much to play for. This team shouldn't be this inept offensively and dropping games to a below-500 team this time of year. I hope I'm wrong (and I'll gladly eat crow if I am), but I fear this will be a short post-season run.
 
If they send a team to Austin that has a solid offense and decent pitching Texas is in trouble IMO. Now if you could pitch Taylor Jungmann every day I like Texas chances.

One player for Texas on offense who has had a very good year is Brandon Loy, he does everything well, great team player.
