Guy, the "arrests" will at least give the feds help building a file and making sure none are connected to previous radical groups working in Travis County as long as those offices now know those groups existed.

I don't think they're looking for tolerance for it. I think they do it to signal their righteousness and dedication to progressive politics.

And of course, this whole thing exposes the fact that the political left and Democrats broadly don't really hate or oppose racism, antisemitism, sexism, or any other form of bigotry. What they oppose is anything that's in the way of an authoritarian system with them in charge. That's why a white supremacist talking like this would have his entire life ruined if he talked like this publicly, while nothing happens to this guy.

I was referring to Israel. And the details are not little. I'm losing track of what your point is. I think these protestors need to be permanently expelled and their loans vigorously collected.

Yes. They run the government. They are the consensus. Many liberals are Republicans. There is one party made up of two arms that run the country. There are some political dissidents in office both on the left and right of the spectrum, but they don't have the power. In a democracy the consensus rules. That is the whole point of democracy.

My point is that for America a very big issue is border security. What is going on in Israel is a very little issue for America. However, our rulers send more money and weapons to protect Israel than they do to close down the border. The US government is actually using their budgets to force the border open.

From what I’ve seen, most of the positive contributions to America made by Arab-Americans have been made by the Lebanese. Although apparently there is some debate amongst the Lebanese as to whether the Lebanese are more than a small % Arab?

I know I have criticized the actions of the Israeli state. I still think they are wrong in what they are doing in Gaza.

However, these protesters infuriate me even more because they threaten Americans and the American way of life. Their behavior is completely repugnant and they should be removed from campuses. It is disgusting that the school administrators and police are supporting Marxist revolutionaries.

This whole situation has split both the American left and right. It has made us weaker. The only solution is to enforce public order and completely reject Marxist political action and thought.
