2025 Recruiting - Softball

Elsa Morrison is a 2025 SS/C from Carmel, Indiana which all the coaches, Cat Osterman, and ‘23 commit Victoria Hunter are all following on Twitter. Coach White and Coach Singleton have liked several of her tweets. Could be one to watch!
 
I find it interesting that many of the players on multimedia today take no shame in self promotion. Note below Hannah Wells copying coaches from Oklahoma, Texas, North Texas, LSU, Texas Tech and aTm with her accomplishments for a particular game. I see this a lot from many of the players being followed by the coaches. It’s possible the coaches have asked to get updates but I wonder? I guess you do what you gotta do to get the scholarship you want from that coveted school.
 
Has anyone had a chance to see the pitcher from San Benito H.S.? She is a sophomore and her pitching speed is up to 66 mph.

2025 P/UT Amira Rodriguez is a former USA All-American who throws in the mid-60s and recently joined Texas Riptide 07.

She’s leading the Greyhounds to the TX H.S. 6A State Championship. She will play in Austin this weekend, May 30-June 3, 2023

Wow: Rheumatoid Arthritis is serious stuff. God bless her where ever she goes. Hope it's Texas, but if not, God Speed.

So far see her more as a hitter than pitcher in college. Hannah Wells and Addisyn Linton are pitcher and hitters in the class.
 
She seems to be all in on Louisiana at the moment and just received an offer from Oklahoma so we’ll see in a year or two where this goes.

Oklahoma's softball NIL could be hard to resist...$40K + a new (almost) double-wide for Momma & a new cooling tower for Daddy's still...hard to beat.
 
I sure hope Coach is all in on Hannah Wells! She came to the Texas camp last year. #1ranked Pitcher by softball America, #4 by extra innings. Won the MVP at the 3A Texas State championships from Coahoma, Texas!
 
Looked into Coach Singleton's twitter account to see who he is following for the 2025 class and putting his "like" on their tweets.

Not sure if this means anything at all but it could give us some little indication who they may be looking at for the 2025 class. Coach White doesn't use twitter much. Very few likes of players on the radar other than a recent post by Elsa Morrison! I'm sure they have their offer list prioritized and ready to go. I also believe Hannah Wells is priority #1 for his 2025 pitcher. Offers will be going out Sept 1 and commitments will begin rolling in. What an exciting time of year!!
 
Come on Coach White, please don’t let this one slip by. When is Texas hosting a camp?? This is her third camp!

I'm sure it's much easier to talk to players about playing for Texas in the future, while you're standing there in Colorado, rather than the 100+ heat index we're experiencing now.
 
Elsa Morrison could be the best hitter in the class, lots of power with a mature approach. Going to be hard to keep her from the Tenn but would be a game changer combined with the 2023 class.
 
Only post I saw from yesterday’s camp. Maci is a 2029. Was hoping we would get some 2025 recruits in and posting their attendance. Maybe today or they are waiting for football season to bring them to campus!
