I don't understand the math behind RPIs. But would it help or hurt their RPI to play Texas?

So OSU was able to hop over OU, even though OSU ends up being third in the conference. That's fair.

I was really hoping Texas St could have hosted this year. The way they played us I thought they deserved it. I still think they could be a tough out in the right regional.

Awards: 2024 All-Big 12 Softball Awards Revealed

When you look at the First Team, there are 18 players.
Five are UT players. ALL five of UT players are non-seniors.
Granted, I'm still confused by COVID waivers, but of the 18, 9 are Sr or Gr listed. All FOUR of OU's players are seniors.

We're moving to a more competitive conference overall, UT, OU, and OSU are in the top five right now!
