"Well looky there...he caught that one." JB to aggy Von Miller (after being taunted by him) after another reception leading the 'Horns to yet another V over aggy wrecking crew.

Big news of the day is five-star OL Brandon Baker expected to make a June official visit to Texas.

He and his family are currently working with Sark and Coach Flood on setting things up, and they'd like him in Austin for June 17th.

He's planning on committing before his senior season.

Brandon Baker, Mater Dei, Offensive Tackle

circling back around to ask why on this...
probably because we made earlier commitments to others and we told them how important they are for us so if we recruit other running backs then we seem insincere to our first offers. Would love to get Tatum and Gibson
Doubt we get Tatum so somebody else will get a good one.

A couple of early cb's have him USC bound.

Per IT, OL DeAndre Carter of Mater Dei will take his official visit to Texas for the Kansas game on September 30th.

247 reporting WR Micah Hudson and CB Selman Bridges of Lake Belton will arrive a day late for their official visits to Texas.

They will be competing in the 7-on-7 State Tournament in College Station that week, so they won't be in Austin until Saturday instead of arriving the Friday evening.

Not a major deal, and the same thing happened to WR Johntay Cook last summer, but they won't be able to have make-up time because the dead period starts that Sunday evening.

Micah Hudson, Lake Belton, Wide Receiver

Selman Bridges, Lake Belton, Cornerback

just have this feeling that we are going to get some really good o-linemen to sign in this upcoming class. This will keep our offense strong for the next 3-4 years not even counting what we get in '25 and '26. Flood, Sark killing it.
Sark has done a great job of changing the culture so that the top players feel good about coming here. And it warms my heart to hear prospects saying good things about position coaches such as Choice, Banks, the wr coach, etc

I agree Sark is a good recruiter but I also think the nil money has a lot to do with it. Its good to be a longhorn!!!

Nahlin at IT put in a Texas pick of 75% for SCorian Gipsonfrom Lancaster.

Hamilton chimed in and mentioned Gipson canceled his Alabama official for this weekend, but still has Ohio State scheduled for next weekend and Texas after that.

Confidence is supposedly high for the Texas staff right now.

Corian Gipson, Lancaster, Cornerback
