2024/25 Portal Transfers

I suspect we will have players enter the portal after Saturday game. Timing sucks but kids have to get their names out there now to get picked by the right teams

Am I the only one who thinks we are seeing the death of football at the neverwas wannabes and D-II?

With 40-50 new players EVERY year, how can the coaches possibly build a program.

NCAA won't do it because they are too overwhelmingly stupid, but changes need to be made before Christmas:

1) You can portal ONCE in your career

2) Portal and you have to reimburse the school the expenses they incurred because of your wrong choice

3) If we can't go back to the old way of cheating, cap NIL.

WOW! 13 yards per catch and 55 in the quarter hurdles? Who eas the last great hurdler in college football? I only know of one, and he NEVER wo district in highs or lows, much less State.

His name was Cotton Speyer, but Cotton was a RB, who averaged over 10 yards per carry at Port Arthur.

I bet Weber State and Ball State are salivating over this guy.

Maybe we could start a Calcutta on where he portals to next December.

Wait, did Pavlis get his case approved? That kid transferring must really be afraid of their recruit or be very unhappy - or think Pavlis is coming back.

Jamaal Charles?

I don't think I ever knew that he was a hurdler, but if I did, I forgot. Sprinter? Yes; hurdler? No.

His cousin worked at the assisted living center where my mother was after her cancer surgery. We visited almost every time I was there, and he always wanted to talk about Jamaal, but we never discussed track.

HornFans is such an educational site.
