I have a bad feeling the portal gates will open after our playoff run. I hate it and am sure some of my favs will move on. Always going to happen when you have these exceptional classes and it’s such a crap shoot because the entire class never does pan out and you never know who will falter till they do.

Are they off the team now or does Sark relax the policy and allow them to stay during playoffs (assuming this is practical for the players) ?
It seems every team is dealing with the same issue but it will be a drain for practice, substitutes and in some instances starters during the bowl and playoff games.

This guy was a developmental player who will likely contribute in time. Unfortunately he got passed over by more developed players here.

Well they havent announced. This is just an estimate.There is no time estimate.
Sark's policy is once you are in the portal you are off the team.

Cook was a bummer for me.

What's interesting are the "freshman all-american" transfers. i don't think (unsure for certain) we'll see those.

For me, Cook is the only one that left that hurts the last couple of years. Winning a lot helps.

I totally agree, losing Cook hurt. I also would have liked Gullette to continue to develop.
But Akana, and Bryant clearly were not developing enough to play.
Hopeful that Mitchell stays as he and January look like the only holdovers at DT.

Two portal entrants mentioned by IT today are Texas State RB Ismail Mahdi and Georgia Tech WR Eric Singleton, Jr.

Despite Mahdi leading the nation in all-purpose yards, they think the staff may covet a bigger back.

Singleton, Jr. appears to be a no-brainer.

To me this is the most impactful one so far because he was probably going to be in the rotation next year.

Cook doesn’t bother me. Great talent, but I suspect some major maturity issues. Not good for the locker room.

Obviously we have spots open for portal activity based on this so far. I think its pretty obvious how much we missed a burner at WR like X was. Hopefully one is gifted to us who can hold onto the ball. I personally think Blue may be headed out based on lack of playing time but his fumbles have hurt us and him immensely! Crazy because he is electric, just cant seem to focus on ball security.
