Football is a very violent game, no doubt. But the aggressive rule changes over the past several years, addressing targeting, blind side blocking, and other aspects of the game including the concussion protocol will almost certainly have a positive effect on the well being of today’s players when they call it quits. I also believe that equipment has and will continue to evolve with the intention of further protecting the players.Keep in mind, he isn't the only Ex-NFL guy to have a hard life after football, there are ton's of them especially with the head trama thing as well. I say this for all our kids, if you can go early to the NFL, go, get your money and then get out before you do permanent damage to your body.
