2023 Recruiting - Football

Some posters were concerned after NSD we were light on WR, DE, and LB. I think the staff is addressing those now with transfers.

I’ll take a more conservative approach and call it a Work in Progress. Even before today and Hall, most believed that the WR room was already the 2nd best position group on the team. So the addition of Hall, while a good thing, doesn’t address our primary areas of need, that being DE/rush end (hopefully Mathis), LB (I personally wonder if Caleb Johnson would be a big get), and OL. The OL should be very good in 23 & perhaps dominant in 24. They need to be “good” in 2022.

I am thinking the following set would be best to minimize DL penetration: 2 RB, 3 WR, 5 OL with one being tackle eligible. In this way, get the ball to your playmakers quickly and with occasional counter-action to cause the DL/LB to hesitate. Occasionally do play-action and drop the bomb to Worthy.

We are loooooooooaded at WR
In fact the whole offense is loaded.
Inexperienced yes, but loaded nonetheless.
It can't be said that Sark doesnt have anything to work with.
