2023 Recruiting - Football

Brooks & Baxter

Our dynamic duo at RB next year.
And Blue… excited about the OL, RB, TE, QB and WR talent.
I was just gonna say the running backs and wide receivers but the more I thought about it I think we’ve got an upgrade across the board next year

Well, if Blue doesn't portal away, that's 3 Killer B's at RB -- Brooks, Baxter & Blue.

it remains to be seen if we have an upgrade at rb. I mean Bijan is probable first round pick.

I hope he’s great at the college level but what I saw in the Hudl film was a RB with good cutting ability, running through huge holes, not breaking tackles or running over people. He will rarely see such open spaces in college. He does look big/stout. Guess we’ll see.
hmmm, I saw him breaking tackles.

Viper,

How could you question the credibility of Sports Illustrated? They are the BBB of sports. Tell you what you want them to say and they will publish it and swear it is Gospel.

But SH, compared to the very high standard that ESPN has set, are they not a Pillar of Integrity?

(Plus, I still have my SI cover featuring “Football’s Fanciest Runner,” from the mid 60s.)

Back in the 60s, SI was something to be revered. They worked their way to sliminess. ESPN started slimy and went downhill from there. I don't think any of us ever thought the people that brought you Mickey Mouse and Disney World were capable of reaching such depths.

Yeah, well I still ain't taking these off of my wall...
