Why do kids have a skewed version of reality? There's not a kid in that picture other than the one signing autographs for a bunch of adults. Thats kind of weird to me.

As you know, the pursuit of Isidore-Newman 2023 five star QB Arch Manning is full speed ahead.

Spoke with a source on the Texas side of things who voiced some confidence to say the least. Source told me straight up:

“We are going to get him.”

Still a lot of time to go in this recruitment, but the confidence is there on the Texas side.
 
4* WR Johntay Cook with a lil Arch nugget ... per TFB today

“(Texas) getting into the SEC, that’s big,” Cook said. “You get to go to Texas and play in the SEC, can’t get any better than that.”

As for Arch, Cook says he still communicates with him every day.

While it is still too early for Cook to make a decision now, he said by May of 2022 he hopes to have found a home and made things official.

Manning going to Texas will cause Aggie to implode. We take away their SEC advantage and now we take away SEC royalty.
 
Sorry people. Not that it matters, but I've known Archie a long time; Peyton's wife graduated UVA Comm School with my daughter while Peyton, my son, and I tried to find shade from the four leaves on a scrawny little tree. I don't want Sark, et al to give up, but I don't see Arch in Austin except as the visiting team's QB.

Where do you think Arch winds up?
 
No clue, but the logical choices are out:

Ole Miss - not a 2% chance
Tennessee - One of three worst clusters in D-1
Cut - coached Peyton & Eli, but Duke is an invitation to get beat up
LSU - Who is the coach?

Unless things change, I think it's a horse race between Saban & Dabo

Well we will need a strong QB in this class since it appears Maalik is a long term project at the next level. Seems Arch is going to commit early to get a great class with him as well so we will know sooner than later.

So who else is on our board?

I get an Uncle has influence but not sure the connection. I coach against him in flag football, I'll ask him for some info in 2 weeks on his nephew.
 
I am not a big fan of tweeting directly at a recruit or his family but I thought this was funny ... Patriots just released Cam Newton
