We don’t need this cancer n the locker room

He’s been suspended 2 x as a starter this year. Smoked weed in the locker at the South Carolina game…
Filmed himself and published a scary garage driving video. this kid’s maturity level???…
Missed curfews also… Bo would skin this kid alive.
OU, maybe the U, but not here.

Not aware of all that

Probably because of lack of playing time this year.

I like your theory better though.
But…. If he read the room, he had a good chance of playing more with O leaving.
I bet Sark laid it out, nothing personal and I loved his motor- but I’d bet Sark told him his chances to play vs to start.
Sarks class.

Texags is savaging King right now. Yet, 3 years ago he was the best QB recruit in Texas and don’t you say otherwise. Biggest set of losers on the internet.
That’s awful, Kings a good guy and those Ags treated him horribly when he played.
Good! In hopes the word gets out to the other recruits on the clown show.
Why in the world would a kid sign with Aggie right now? Even with NIL?
Love seeing all that 2022 Aggie NIL go right down the drain.
I foresee an ESPN 30 for 30 regarding the meltdown in Aggieland..
’The Old Sarge Ponzi Scheme’ or
“Jimbos Pump and Dump”
Or
“ The curse of the Bambino II , the Saban chronicles “

Well, since you brought team curfews into this…

I think our 1977 team was one of our best. Quite a bit better than this year’s team, in fact. I’ve heard stories that a bunch of them stayed out partying waaaaaayyyyyy waaaaaaayyyyyyy after any sort of curfew. Just sayin’…

But did they smoke weed in the locker room following a game?
Or drive recklessly ( and if you didn’t see the video… it’s bad)
I’m with you, absolutely forgive a teenager coming in a little late… it’s the consistency coupled with the Rick James impersonation in the team locker room.
No way, no way I’d take this kid.

Of course, in previous generations, that sort of thing happened a lot. Max McGee caught two touchdown passes for the Packers in Super Bowl I while he was hungover (or possibly even still drunk from the night before). Broadway Joe Namath pulled that sort of thing off regularly. He’s in the Hall of Fame.

Chop,

How many of us might have been greater players if we had adhered to Max McGee's pregame ritual? Would Paul Hornung have been half that great if McGee hadn't introduced him to the McGee Pregame Ritual?

Namath may have been great, but he was an amateur compared to Bobby Layne and Kenny Stabler.

What are y’all basing someone’s “talent” level on?

Recruiting ratings? Initial scholarship offers?

Regarding most players, we fans know little about testing numbers and then ignore them when they don’t fit the narrative.

And I’d assume we should replace Jerrin Thompson after this year because his supposed talent level is not 5*. Never mind he was under appreciated for his play and effort this year.

As a parent, I think if a kid is unhappy he should have the freedom to leave.
I assume you mean "the freedom to leave" and play at another school. Players have always had that option. Until recently, the kid had to sit out a year at the new school; but that gave him and his new coaches time to acclimate and develop for their program.

I am rethinking the portal. My first OPINION was it was just a way for disgruntled players who thought they deserved more playing time.
Maybe it is a good thing for both schools and players.

Are there any special rules for community college players? Can they just jump in the portal and transfer like 4 year college players?
