Well some form of scouting and recruiting is happening. Not sure for what class, and possibly even portal players(?), so linking this in this off season thread.
3/4 of the staff are headed to Hampton, VA. Looks like that is for Boo Williams:I’m pretty sure this the first weekend of big club ball tournaments so I’d guess recruiting for ‘24 & ‘25.
I’m sure a few female head coaches mention supporting women coaches when they’re recruiting against Vic, Geno and other male HCs. Off the top of my head, Vic has 5 former women assistants that are now D1 head coaches - I’d put that track record up against any other WBB coach regardless of gender (especially since he’s only been a HC for 11 years).Off topic but just curious as to why Vic only hires women coaches?

Hadn’t realized Shay would be graduating.
Congrats to Shay. Good for her!Because she’s a year early! Graduated in three years. It is becoming common for the athletes who are good students. They start college in the summer after high school graduation and go year round.
Also they may have a number of college credit hours already due to courses taken in HS.Because she’s a year early! Graduated in three years. It is becoming common for the athletes who are good students. They start college in the summer after high school graduation and go year round.
Rori’s hard at work . . .
Gosh, we need to find her some help! She works so hard.
Every player needs an occasional breather... especially those who play as hard as Rori.I remember (not by name) a poster or two who were disagreeing with me vehemently that Rori didn't need any rest; she got her rest while injured the first 8 games of the season so that should have given her more energy and stamina to play 40 minutes every game after she returned from injury
good to hear Maul is ready to go. I swear last month Vic said she wasn’t going to be ready by the start of the season but I’m not complaining. We need her healthy to take some of the load off Harmon at point guard.
